Another successful meeting is coming to a close soon. Buenos Aires has indeed provided ICANN and the Internet Global Community with the perfect setting for a busy meeting! And now that ICANN53 is wrapping up, it's time to pencil in ICANN54 from 18-22 October 2015, in Dublin!

Together with our wonderful hosts the Internet Neutral Exchange Association Limited (INEX), we're very excited to invite you to ICANN54. Even more so, the timing of this meeting couldn't be more momentous. This autumn, the community is expected to complete their proposals on the IANA stewardship transition and enhancing ICANN accountability and the Board is expected to submit the proposals to NTIA for their review and approval.  ICANN CEO and President Fadi Chehadé outlined the final three phases of the IANA Stewardship Transition and Accountability proposals in his keynote address at the ICANN53 Welcome Ceremony.  With that we would be on our way towards an independent ICANN with the Internet's global multi-stakeholder community directly in charge of the growth and sustainability of the Internet's underlying architecture. It will also have been two years exactly since the release of the new gTLD program and ICANN54 will be the first real opportunity to get a tangible assessment of progress in the introduction of these new names.

And of course location is important for such a meeting! So I am happy to announce that the meeting will be held at the renowned Convention Centre Dublin (CCD), a landmark building on Dublin's skyline since its inauguration in 2010.  The CCD is ideally situated right in the heart of Dublin; where you will have the opportunity to experience this great city, which happens to be also one of the most thriving centres of Internet innovation in Europe.  The CCD is ideally located within walking distance from many of the hotels and great amenities the city has to offer, guaranteeing delegates a real feel for Dublin.

See you soon!
