APAC Regional Contractual Compliance Audit Outreach Sessions – November 2015
Contractual Compliance conducted Audit Webinars on 30 November 2015. The webinars were targeted at APAC registries and registrars. Approximately 80 participants from the Asia Pacific region attended the webinars, with attendees from countries like Australia, China and Vietnam. It was an opportunity for the contracted parties to learn more about the compliance audit program, address common audit questions and learn about the structure of the audit report. On 1 and 2 December 2015, APAC contracted parties also took the opportunity to have meetings with the audit team on a 1 on 1 basis to ask more detailed questions regarding the audit program and processes.
ICANN's 54th International Meeting in Dublin, 19 - 22 October 2015
The Contractual Compliance team attended ICANN's 54th International Meeting in Dublin, 19 - 22 October 2015.
On Tuesday, the team joined the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) Stakeholder Group [PDF, 661 KB] to share an update on the compliance activities and address their questions.
On Wednesday, the team provided ICANN community a Contractual Compliance Program Update [PDF, 4 MB] with a focus on addressing the questions and discussions from the attendees.
On Thursday, the team held two closed sessions; one focused on the Registrars [PDF, 1.22 MB] and the other one on the Registry Operators [PDF, 2.38 MB]. The sessions gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and collaborate directly with the Contractual Compliance team.
In addition, the team held meetings throughout the week with different ICANN members and contracted parties based on their request.

Registrar Audit Program Outreach Sessions – September 2015
The contractual Compliance team conducted two outreach sessions about the RAA Compliance Audit Program [PDF, 965 KB] on 16 September 2015 to present an overview of the registrar audit program and to address questions from the registrars selected for this round of audit.
Global Domains Division Summit in Santa Monica, California – 9-11 September 2015
In September, the Contractual Compliance team participated in the Global Domains Division (GDD) Summit in Santa Monica. The team held a workshop in collaboration with GDD Technical Services to discuss common issues and address new monitoring activities. In addition, several 1-1 sessions were conducted with contracted parties to address specific compliance topics related to them. APAC Regional Outreach Sessions – August 2015
The Contractual Compliance team conducted a webinar targeted at APAC Registrars on 13 August 2015. The objective of the webinar was to discuss common recurring challenges faced by APAC Registrars in recent months, including the UDRP and abuse complaint handling. The webinar material can be found here.
Contractual Compliance, together with Registrar Services, also conducted outreach in Seoul, Korea on 20 August 2015. Approximately 20 Korean contracted parties met with ICANN's Seoul representatives and APAC staff. It was an opportunity for the contracted parties to collaborate and gain a better understanding on the processing of UDRP and abuse complaints and to learn more about the compliance audit program.
ICANN's 53rd International Meeting in Buenos Aires, 22 – 25 June 2015
The Contractual Compliance team attended ICANN's 53rd International Meeting in Buenos Aires, 22 – 25 June 2015.
The team met with the Joint Executive Committees of Registry Stakeholder Group, New TLD Application Group and Registrar Stakeholder Group on Sunday evening, for a discussion on contract interpretation concerns.
On Tuesday, the team joined the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) Stakeholder Group [PDF, 4.16 MB] to share an update on the compliance activities and address their questions.
On Wednesday, the team provided ICANN community a Contractual Compliance Program Update [PDF, 4.43 MB] with a focus on addressing the questions and discussions from the attendees.
On Thursday, the team held two closed sessions; one focused on the Registrars [PDF, 1.32 MB] and the other one on the Registry Operators [PDF, 1.13 MB]. The sessions gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and collaborate directly with the Contractual Compliance team.
In addition, the team held meetings throughout the week with different ICANN members and contracted parties based on their request.

New Registry Agreement Audit Program Outreach Sessions – March 2015
The contractual Compliance team conducted two sessions about the New Registry Agreement Audit Program [Slides] on 25 March 2015 to allow focused discussions as well as address questions from the contracted parties. The sessions introduced the overall audit objectives, the audit phases and timeline, and the Registry Agreement's provision under consideration.

The Contractual Compliance team attended ICANN's 52nd International Meeting in Singapore, 9 – 12 February 2015.
The team met with the Joint Executive Committees of Registry Stakeholder Group, New TLD Application Group and Registrar Stakeholder Group on Sunday (February 08) evening, for a discussion on contract interpretation concerns.
On Monday (February 09) and Tuesday (February 10), the team joined the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) group [PDF, 1 MB], the Registrar Stakeholder Group [PDF, 1.32 MB], the Intellectual Property Constituency (IPC) Stakeholder Group [PDF, 1 MB] and the Business Constituency Stakeholder Group [PDF, 1 MB] to share an update on the compliance activities and address their questions.
On Wednesday (February 11), the team provided ICANN community a Contractual Compliance Update [PDF, 1 MB] with a focus on addressing the questions and discussions from the attendees.
On Thursday (February 12), the team held two closed sessions; one focused on the Registrars [PDF, 1.32 MB] and the other one on the Registry Operators [PDF, 966 KB]. The sessions gave participants the opportunity to ask questions and collaborate directly with the Contractual Compliance team. In addition, the team presented an update to the Government Advisory Committee (GAC) [PDF, 490 KB] and addressed their questions related to compliance activities.
